Job Purpose:
The postholder will provide key Microfluidics and biosensing expertise to a new HF-TIC project. The core research activities associated with this post will be carried out at the Nanotechnology and Integrated Bioengineering Centre (NIBEC) / Centre for Digital Healthcare Technology-CDHT on the Belfast Campus and will involve the research and development of novel sensing methodologies for next generation bio-sensing. The post holder will work in close collaboration with scientists and engineers within industry to develop, test and validate sensor systems for advanced diagnostic applications.
This project is supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).
