Job summary: This role will require a combination of skill and experience to work at a senior level within KFM and with our external clients / stakeholders across multiple disciplines to find solutions to complex business issues. Using procurement and contract management skills to maximize business opportunities, influencing and negotiating with stakeholders to achieve the business outcomes required.
Main duties of the job: Managing a portfolio of complex and high-profile procurement projects and contracts. Working extensively across the business with a wide variety of senior stakeholders. This is a hands-on role. Manage internal operations and resources to enable the delivery of the vision set out by the Head of Procurement, assigned strategic projects, saving targets, day to day operations and financial and quality targets.

Job responsibilities: We are seeking a senior procurement leader to drive innovation and ensure sustainable, value-driven sourcing of essential goods and services that impact lives every day. The successful candidate will lead commercial reviews, negotiate, and draft contracts for cost optimisation and deliver savings targets to support the performance improvement programme.
Candidate Profile:
* Educated to degree level (or equivalent)
* MCIPS qualification (or equivalent experience)
* Successful track record of delivering cost reductions and service improvement
* Expertise in Category and Contract management of large and complex projects
* Expertise in Public Procurement Regulations, Procurement Act 2023 and Provider Selection Regime
* Excellent Stakeholder management
* Proactive, organised and enthusiastic
Interview process: The interview process will be two stages, the final stage will be held on site at our Head Office and will include one of our key stakeholders.

Salary: £73,000 to £83,400 a year
