You will be responsible for
* Leading your team to ensure your branch trades efficiently, safely, legally, and with high customer service standards.
* Managing delivery costs and customer charges to meet targets.
* Identifying efficiency opportunities and setting challenging payroll cost reduction targets.
* Understanding the local market to provide exceptional service and customer satisfaction.
* Managing your team to meet customer service requirements and engaging with customers to gather feedback for service improvement.
* Collaborating with the regional team to identify opportunities and develop or improve operational practices.
You will need
* Previous experience and knowledge in deliveries/transport is essential.
* Management CPC qualification.
* Experience managing a warehouse operation.
* Strong customer engagement skills and ability to build relationships.
* Ability to develop new ideas and challenge the team to enhance delivery service.
* Talent identification and team development skills.
* Motivational skills to foster a customer-focused culture.
* Effective communication and stakeholder influence.
* Strong planning and organizational skills.
* A hands-on approach is beneficial.
