What You’ll Be Up To:
1. Based at our Nottingham facility, you'll learn key concepts related to all products and equipment for our Global Marine and Navy department.
2. You'll collaborate on projects with the broader engineering team, spread across our four UK production sites.
3. As you progress, you'll gain a broad understanding of various roles, spending time in projects, production sales, and site services.
4. You'll learn the concepts of design and engineering drawing in 2D AutoCAD.
5. You'll enhance your knowledge in testing and configuring systems and using production software.
6. Once you're familiar with Johnson Controls products, you'll have the opportunity to transition to our projects department and work on large-scale projects.
7. You'll work with suppliers to ensure everything is manufactured and tested correctly.
8. With familiarity in our products and systems, you'll be given the chance to participate in our large-scale projects.
9. You'll work closely with the wider engineering team and assist in project estimation.
10. You will be required to ensure that you adhere to safe working practices and also be able to take instructions and act upon them in a prompt and professional manner.

📚 Level 3 Engineering and Manufacturing Support Technician
đź§ Mix of college learning and hands-on mentoring. College is day release, done at college
What You’ll Need:
âś… GCSEs in English & Maths-Grade 5 (C) or above
âś… Full UK driving licence
âś… Ability to pass BPSS clearance
âś… Happy to travel, work away and stay over in hotels when needed
âś… Good vibes: team spirit, hardworking, communication skills, and a love for technology and Engineering
