Job Description
3. Prepare and process financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
4. Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
5. Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy in all financial records.
6. Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
7. Maintain and update accounting systems and databases.
8. Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
9. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments as needed.
10. Perform other accounting tasks as assigned by the Accounting & Finance team.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
11. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
12. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
13. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
14. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
15. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
16. An education or qualification in accounting or a related field is preferred.
