Community & Partnerships Engagement Officer

* Location: Home-based, operating across Oxfordshire
* Salary: £27,700 per annum paid weekly
Reed are delighted to be partnering with a national organisation who provide vital services to communities across the UK. They seek a Community & Partnerships Engagement Officer to support the delivery of their strategy; engaging with healthcare professionals to deliver an effective service. This role is crucial in driving quality referrals through innovative engagement techniques and building strong relationships across various communities and professional networks.
You will be working from home, but driving across Oxfordshire to visit various sites and engage with different communities, so will need access to your own mode of transport and a full UK driving licence. An understanding of local community setups would be hugely advantageous, and a willingness to proactively reach out to a wide range of stakeholders is paramount to success.
Day-to-Day of the Role:
* Drive quality referrals to the service through both professional and self-referral channels using an Asset Based Community Development approach.
* Build and maintain relationships with key referral pathways, developing innovative engagement techniques to ensure targeted and steady referrals.
* Establish and maintain effective referral pathways, ensuring clear communication of referral processes, eligibility criteria, and service scope.
* Build strong relationships with a wide range of services and organisations to provide holistic support to individuals, families, and communities.
* Develop and deliver presentations and engage in community events to promote services, enhancing visibility and reach.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven experience in community engagement, partnership building, or a related field.
* Strong understanding of Asset Based Community Development or similar approaches.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of effectively engaging diverse groups.
* Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external partners.
* Creative and strategic thinker with the ability to identify and implement innovative engagement strategies.
