Kitchen Assistant Role
Our Kitchen Assistants focus on supporting the kitchen team in creating positively memorable dining experiences for our guests. This role reports directly to the Kitchen Manager and is part of a team based at our attractive hotel in Derby-Nottingham M1J25 (NG10 5NJ).
* Dishwashing: All dishes, ranging from pots and pans to cutlery, are either hand washed or loaded into the dishwasher.
* Delivery Organisation: You will be responsible for receiving deliveries and ensuring they are organized in the kitchen.
* Storage Management: Storage must be organized so that all ingredients are easily accessible.
* Waste Removal: All waste bins are emptied, ensuring waste is disposed of promptly.
* Basic Food Preparation: When the kitchen is busy, you may be asked to support with basic food prep.
* Material Collection: Support chefs by collecting materials or ingredients as needed.
Beyond that, you'll represent our company values and culture, ensuring service excellence remains our top priority.
