Hunter James Recruitment are assisting our client - a well-established organisation within the Automotive industry with their search for a Workshop Manager to join their fantastic team within their site in Burnley
THE ROLE:
Day to day management of the Workshop and Service department
Improve and optimize on standards / performance of the service team through effective performance management and development
Cultivate successful business culture focused on customer service excellence, customer retention and new business for both workshop and parts
Optimize and improve customer service standards and ensure the departments run in according with company standards and key performance indicators.
Operating to achieve a very high KPI standard including MOT Pass Rate / Breakdown results whilst maintain the companys standard at all times
Increase efficiency, effectiveness and profitability of the depots
Regular review resources in order to meeting all servicing requirements to ensure that key performance indicators are met consistently reviewing labour efficiency, labour sales, cost of sales, debtors.
Carry out internal audits to ensures depots are fully complaint in terms of both ISO and Health & Safety
Reporting directly to directors and keeping all parties updated with constant communication
Maximize commercial opportunities through developing and implementing campaigns within specific market sectors.

Advise on the need for investment if and when required within the depots
Arrange and attend regular depot meetings to allow for a clear communication channel as well building great team relationships
THE CANDIDATE
Experience in leading, managing and developing teams.
Experience within the Automotive sector is essential
Excellent communication skills at all levels.
Good Organizational Skills.
An approachable personality
Ability to focus efforts and prioritise work
Attention to detail
Client facing experience being able to manage client expectation
Ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure
