The Role
As Regional Manager, you will oversee a small portfolio of mid-sized residential and dementia homes, working closely with Home Managers to maintain high standards of care, develop leadership capability and drive consistent performance across the portfolio. This is not a corporate, desk-based role. You will be visible, supportive and practical, leading through coaching rather than control, and helping managers navigate the real-world pressures of care home operations. You will also play a key role in supporting wider business projects, including refurbishments and new home developments.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide operational and quality leadership across a portfolio of care homes
* Support, coach and develop Home Managers to strengthen performance and retention
* Drive quality, compliance and CQC readiness across all services
* Monitor and support KPIs including quality, occupancy, staffing and financial performance
* Lead and support improvement projects, refurbishments and service developments
* Act as a trusted, values-led leader within a growing organisation
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Strong background in residential elderly care
* Current or recent Area / Regional Manager, or an experienced multi-site leader
* NVQ Level 5 (or equivalent)
* Deep understanding of CQC, care home operations and frontline pressures
* Supportive, coaching leadership style
* Motivated by quality and people
