We are seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in CAMHS Psychiatry to work full-time hours per week for our client’s substance misuse team based in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for an immediate start, for a short-term contract.
What will your responsibilities be?
Your key responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments of adults to understand their mental health challenges, considering their personal history and symptoms. You will formulate individualised treatment plans tailored to each person’s needs and goals.
You will lead a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with various healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, person-centred care. Your role will also involve overseeing therapeutic interventions, including medication management and crisis interventions.
You will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating individuals’ progress regularly. You will adjust treatment plans as needed to optimise care. Additionally, you will contribute to risk assessments and management strategies, ensuring the safety and well-being of those in your care. This role requires both clinical expertise and a compassionate approach.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Full GMC license to practice.
* Section 12 approval.
* Approved Clinician Status.
* Proven experience in relevant field.
