Experienced Teaching Assistant – Full Time Primary School | Carmarthen (SA31) Immediate Start We are looking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to work full time in our primary school in the Carmarthen area. This role is available for an immediate start and would suit someone who is confident, caring, and able to support children effectively throughout the school day. We are keen to hear from applicants with experience or backgrounds in: Childcare Coaching or youth work Psychology Guides, Scouts, or similar organisations Social work Care or support work The successful candidate will be able to work with children of all ages and abilities across the primary age range, including pupils who may display challenging behaviour. You will be punctual, adaptable, and happy to use your initiative. We are looking for someone who can quickly settle into the classroom, understand routines, and get fully involved in supporting learning and behaviour. You will work closely alongside the class teacher, offering consistent support during lessons, small group work, and transitions throughout the day. Helping the classroom run smoothly and creating a calm, positive learning environment will be a key part of the role. Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school is highly desirable. Childcare qualifications are desirable, and any relevant training or experience will be taken into account.
