Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant Location: Enfield, North London Start Date: January 2026 Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term Salary: £90 - £125 per day (PAYE, DOE) SEND Teaching Assistant - Specialist Resource Provision (SRP), Enfield Tradewind Recruitment are seeking committed and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming and well-resourced Specialist Resource Provision (SRP) within a mainstream primary school in Enfield from January 2026. The SRP supports pupils with a range of cognitive learning needs, offering tailored interventions, structured routines, and small-group teaching within a calm and nurturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for caring and proactive practitioners who are passionate about helping children grow academically, socially, and emotionally. The Role: Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with cognitive learning needs Assisting with differentiated lessons and personalised learning plans Encouraging confidence, independence, and positive social interaction Working collaboratively with class teachers, the SENCO, and wider school team to deliver targeted interventions Helping to maintain an inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning environment What We're Looking For: Experience supporting children with SEND (in a school, SRP, or similar setting) A patient, enthusiastic, and proactive approach to learning support Strong teamwork and communication skills Understanding of learning difficulties, autism, and/or speech & language needs An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) Why Work with Tradewind Recruitment?
