What will you do?
Principal Accountabilities, Activities and Decisions
* Strategic HR Partnership: Act as a trusted HR advisor to section leaders, providing guidance on organisational design, workforce planning, employee relations, and performance management.
* Workforce Planning & Talent: Support workforce forecasting, recruitment strategy, and succession planning to ensure the section has the right people, with the right skills, at the right time.
* HR Operations Oversight: Coordinate HR processes including onboarding, vetting, compensation administration, and mobility, ensuring compliance and consistency across the section.
* Employee Relations & Engagement: Provide guidance on employee relations matters, resolving issues fairly and consistently, and supporting initiatives that drive engagement and wellbeing.
* Data-Driven Insights: Maintain and analyse HR data to inform decision-making, identify trends, and support leadership in achieving workforce objectives.
* Change & Culture: Support the implementation of HR initiatives, process improvements, and cultural programmes to embed organisational values and foster a one-team approach.
What are we looking for?
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience
* Proven ability to build strong partnerships with leaders and stakeholders to drive HR initiatives and workforce performance.
* Experience in workforce planning, recruitment, and HR operations within complex organisations or projects.
* Strong organisational, prioritisation, and multitasking skills.
* Experience in employee relations, engagement, and culture initiatives.
* Proficiency with Office 365 and HR information systems.
* Experience in HR or People Support roles with responsibility for advising leaders and supporting teams.
* Chartered or equivalent HR qualification (CIPD Level 5 or above) or equivalent experience.
* Experience working in major projects, multi-stakeholder environments, or construction/engineering sectors.
* Exposure to implementing HR process improvements or strategic workforce initiatives.
