Who Should Apply?
Applicants must have full registration with the GMC. This fellowship is ideal for candidates who are within the final year of training or who are post‑CCT. Applicants should possess a strong foundation in critical care medicine, including FFICM qualification or equivalent and a keen interest in the care of patients with acute neurological and neurosurgical disorders.

* High‑Volume Centre: Work in one of the busiest units in the UK, renowned for its excellence in neurocritical care, neurology, neurosurgery, neurotrauma and interventional neuroradiology.
Southmead Hospital has a 24 hour a day 7 day a week acute stroke thrombectomy service and is one of the busiest centres in Europe.
It delivers some of the highest neurotrauma survival rates in the UK.
Unique Rotations: Benefit from immersive rotations including in Interventional Neuroradiology and Neurosurgery, allowing you to gain a deep understanding of the interdisciplinary nature of neurocritical care.
