Purpose of the role
Reporting to the Head of Cyber Security, the Cybersecurity Engineer will ensure the security of all group systems, infrastructure (cloud and on-premises), and applications. The role involves delivering and implementing the bank's technology roadmap, ensuring adherence to security standards and policies.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, along with strong documentation skills. The role requires collaboration across teams and disciplines such as Infrastructure and Architecture in an agile environment. This position supports the bank's Security, Digital, and Cloud strategies.
Duties and responsibilities
* Expertise in Microsoft products (Azure, AD, O365, etc.)
* Experience with SIEM tools, preferably MS Sentinel
* Understanding of Web technologies and Web Application Firewalls (WAF)
* Knowledge of Windows Server infrastructure (2012, 2016, 2019), Active Directory, and Azure AD
* Ability to understand and articulate interoperability between technologies and design pragmatic security solutions
* Effective collaboration with internal and external SMEs/partners
* Familiarity with frameworks such as ISO 27001/2, SOC, NIST, or COBIT
About You
Skills
* Recognized security qualification or working towards one (e.g., CiSP, CompTIA)
* Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ-500 or MS-500 are advantageous
* Experience working in hybrid cloud environments
* Ability to design security solutions considering interoperability between technologies
* Effective teamwork in an agile environment
Qualifications and experience
Must hold a recognized security qualification (e.g., CiSP, CompTIA) and have experience working in cyber security within a regulated environment. Proven experience delivering security solutions across project cycles and technologies.

Working hours
37.5 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm with a one-hour lunch break. We support flexible and hybrid working arrangements to promote work-life balance.
