My mainstream secondary school client, based a short commute from Cirencester, is actively seeking a versatile and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible on a permanent basis, working 29 hours per week across five days. Teaching Assistant qualifications and previous experience working in SEN environments will be beneficial but are not essential, as full training is provided. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers and graduates to begin their careers in education in a rewarding and exciting role. To be successful, you will need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills to support the classroom teacher, in addition to a genuine desire to support students and facilitate their success.
The School:
This school prides itself on the professional development opportunities it offers. As such, this is an excellent opportunity for experienced teaching assistants seeking a new and vibrant environment, as well as aspiring teachers taking their first steps into a career in education. Depending on experience and qualifications, Teaching Assistants can expect either Unqualified Grade 3 Point 4 (£12.65 per hour) or Qualified Grade 4 Point 7 (£13.26 per hour).
