As a Consultant Psychiatrist within our team, you will be at the forefront of providing essential mental health and learning disability services to a diverse population of 1.8 million people in Kent and Medway. Main duties of the job
This role is 10 PA plus 0.5 PA and 3% Category A availability supplement for the on-call post. Part time or job-share applications are welcome.
Successful applicants must have MRCPsych or equivalent and be on, or within six months of inclusion on, the Specialist Register and be fully registered with the GMC, as well as Approved Clinician and S12 approval under the Mental Health Act.

Training, Qualifications and Registration
Essential
* MB BS or equivalent medical qualification
* Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment
* On the GMC Specialist Register OR within six months
* Approved Clinician status OR able to achieve within 3 months of appointment
* Approved under S12 OR able to achieve within 3 months of appointment
Desirable
* Qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research or management
* MRCPsych
* Additional clinical qualifications
* In good standing with GMC with respect to warnings and conditions on practice
Transport

* Holds and will use a valid UK driving licence or provides evidence of proposed alternative
