Hays are working in partnership with South Gloucestershire Council who are seeking to appoint a Senior Estates Surveyor to take an influential role in promotion of the use of land, and opportunities.

Your New Role
As a Senior Estates Surveyor, you will be involved in all aspects of valuation and estates work of the council which includes acquisitions, disposals, management, rating, and compensation matters. You will provide a cost-effective professional valuation and property management service to the council considering policy and legislation, demonstrating value for money on all property transactions.
You will join a property & development team responsible for managing corporate and investment assets. You will provide a high level of technical expertise within this team, playing a key role in ensuring that the service is well organised and delivered effectively.
What You Need to Succeed
* Hold a degree in estate management (or equivalent), alongside a professional membership of RICS (or equivalent).
* Hold post-qualification experience working within a commercial organisation or a local authority.
* Desirable - be a Registered Valuer.
This role is open to individuals from a wide range of sectors - therefore whether you have worked within the public sector previously, or are currently working in the commercial world, do not hesitate in applying!
