Restaurant and Bar Manager
£35,000 per annum + Service Charge, 40 hours per week

Responsibilities
* Day‑to‑day management of the food and beverage outlets, ensuring the highest standards of food and beverage service.
* Plan, organise and direct overall food and beverage operation, administration, marketing and promotion of the outlet, and be accountable for its profitability and revenue generation.
* Implement and maintain control measures to keep food and beverage costs, productivity, labour costs and operating supply costs within budget.
* Plan budgets and review forecast for revenue and expenditure on a monthly basis.
* Carry out duty‑management shifts according to business needs.
* Analyse and submit month‑end reports and identify deviation from business plan goals.
* Participate in management meetings to review progress towards achievement of business plan goals and develop the annual business plan.
* Plan, implement and measure profit‑enhancement programmes by working with the kitchen and sales department.
* Prepare and submit post‑mortem promotion report to the General Manager upon completion of promotion.
Qualifications
* Strong leadership with interpersonal and training skills.
* Service‑oriented communication skills with an eye for detail.
* Team player and team motivator.
* Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
* Prepare weekly and monthly forecasts for restaurant, bar and room service.
* Constant liaison with the Head Chef, Conference and Events Manager and Operations Manager.
* Flexibility to work a range of shifts and days; open 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
