The Role: External Sales Manager
We’re looking for a proven commercial leader to take charge of a national external sales team covering the UK, Ireland, and Iceland.
In this role, you will:

Lead, coach, and drive the performance of Area Sales Managers
*
Take commercial ownership of sales strategy across two product divisions:
Power Transmission Components (chains, sprockets, couplings)
Cable & Hose Carrier Systems for dynamic industrial environments
*
Manage and grow key customer accounts across OEMs, End Users, and Distribution
*
Shape regional sales plans and performance KPIs with direct links to European leadership
*
Identify and develop new business opportunities in growth sectors
*
Leverage internal engineering and product specialists to support complex solutions

The Ideal Candidate
*
Proven experience leading technical or industrial sales teams
*
Commercial expertise in Power Transmission, Bearings, Motion Control or Automation
*
HNC/HND (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline
*
Hands-on experience managing large territories and key accounts
*
Confident communicator with a track record of delivering growth
*
Comfortable blending strategic planning with hands-on team leadership
