An exciting opportunity has arisen at our Middlesbrough Vets for Pets practice for an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and welcoming team.
We are looking for a nurse to join us on a full-time basis working 4 days a week, from 8:30am to 7pm, Tuesday to Friday, with Mondays off. This will include working 1 in 6 Saturdays (9am to 12:30pm), in sole charge with the support of a veterinary surgeon and receptionist.

We are located on Marton Road, Middlesbrough, with excellent transport links and the diversity of having both the facilities of a vibrant city as well as rural life, with the North York Moors and beaches on the doorstep.
The practice is well established, partner owned for 15 years, flourishing with a wide variety of interesting medical and surgical cases. You will be joining an established team led by Kat Goldsbrough MRCVS, including 3 Vets, 5 Nurses working to schedule 3, 2 student nurses fully supported by 4 Client Care Advisors.
Refurbishment & Facilities:
We're excited to be undergoing a full refurbishment this month, which includes the addition of a dedicated nurse consulting room, a state-of-the-art dental X-ray suite, and a brand-new reception area designed with both clients and team comfort in mind. We're also introducing a modern colleague room to provide our staff with a relaxing and functional space to unwind and recharge. It's an exciting time to join us as we grow and invest in both our facilities and our team!
About the Role:
By joining us, you will have the opportunity to use your nursing skills to their full potential, including admitting patients, monitoring anaesthetics, recovering, and discharging patients. Assistance from ANAs and an SVN will be available for theatre turnaround and patient prep.
Within our nursing team, we aim to achieve job satisfaction through carrying out in-depth nursing clinics, anaesthesia, radiology, and laboratory work, with a schedule of three procedures. Ideally, you will have experience in all the above.
