Key Responsibilities
Administer and maintain SQL Server databases, following Microsoft best practices
Optimise, monitor, and secure database performance
Extract and deliver business-critical data, generating reports via Microsoft SSRS and Power BI
Enhance existing SQL code, stored procedures, and core business database objects
Support and develop applications with C and VB.net; troubleshoot and resolve bugs
Provide 3rd line and on-call support for systems and data issues
Advise on best practice in business systems and management information; proactively deliver reporting solutionsKey Skills & Requirements
Professional experience managing and optimising SQL Server databases
Strong data extraction, reporting, and troubleshooting skills (Power BI, SSRS)
Solid experience with C and VB.net for systems support and development
Excellent customer focus and proactive problem-solving abilities
Desirable: Awareness of business systems market trends, best practice, and experience working with custom, business-critical applicationsWhat's On Offer
