The Role
You will focus on non-contentious construction, working across major development and regeneration projects. The role will involve drafting and negotiating a broad range of construction and engineering documentation, likely including:
* Building contracts
* Professional appointments
* Collateral warranties
* Development agreements
* Procurement documentation
* Construction security and ancillary documents
You will work closely with partners and senior lawyers while also taking responsibility for your own matters and client relationships. The work is varied, high-value and often part of large-scale, multi-disciplinary teams.
The Requirements
The successful candidate will:
* Have at least 5 years’ PQE in non-contentious construction
* Be confident drafting and negotiating standard form and bespoke contracts
* Possess strong commercial awareness and client-facing skills
* Enjoy collaborating on major development, infrastructure and real estate projects
