These initiatives primarily focus on: Regeneration and anti-poverty efforts Collaborative partnership working Enhancing well-being, resilience, and life chances for local residents Key responsibilities include: Facilitating the Welfare Reform Anti-Poverty Group to coordinate area-wide responses to poverty-related issues Overseeing targeted initiatives such as the Warm Welcome Project Contributing to the monitoring and evaluation of local outcomes and partnership action plans Representing Levenmouth on Fife-wide working groups The LDO is an essential member of the Community Learning and Development (CLD) team, working closely with colleagues on welfare support, funding opportunities, lifelong learning, and community capacity building. The Person Applicants should demonstrate: Proven experience in building and maintaining partnerships—both within Council Services and with external organisations, including those in the third sector. A sound understanding of local issues and how community wealth building can drive sustainable outcomes and change. Experience in funding processes, monitoring, and evaluating projects. Ability to support and deliver shared action plans effectively. Willingness and ability to travel locally and occasionally across Fife. A qualification in Community Learning and Development (CLD) or an equivalent credential.
