Salary: £25,000 - 27,000 per year Requirements: 1 to 2 years experience in desktop support and IT support roles Windows desktop support and administration Basic troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile phones Active Directory user account creations and management Office 365 user account creations and licence management Exceptional customer service skills Confidence in dealing with users face to face and over the phone Experience in IT service delivery, preferably at an MSP or internal IT support Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to transfer knowledge within a team Basic networking awareness (DHCP, DNS, WAN/LAN troubleshooting) Full UK drivers licence (desirable) Responsibilities: Provide technical hands-on support, answering support queries in person, via phone, or through the ITSM system Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries Take ownership of user problems and proactively address issues Log all calls on the ITSM system and maintain full documentation Respond to enquiries from clients and assist in resolving hardware or software problems Provide training and advice to users on computer equipment Collaborate with the IT Support team and other operational/project teams as required Manage workloads and inform the IT Project & Support Team Lead of potential KPI/target breaches Assign complex service issues to the appropriate IT Support team member Raise security concerns to the IT Project & Support Team Lead Maintain reports and logs in compliance with departmental policy Manage IT stock, including laptops, desktops, accessories, and maintain asset registers Set up and configure new laptops, desktops, and mobile devices Install authorised software on laptops, desktops, and mobile devices Configure and maintain computer systems, networks, and peripherals as instructed Technologies: Active Directory Hardware Support ITSM LAN Mobile Office 365 Security Windows ITIL Microsoft 365 Network More: We are excited to recruit an IT Support Technician to join our existing team at our Head Office in Hunslet, Leeds.
