Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)? Do you have experience working in an early years setting? We are looking for a caring and committed 1:1 SEND Support Worker to join our nurturing nursery team.
About the Role:
As a 1:1 SEND Support Worker, you will:
* Provide tailored, individual support to a child with additional needs during their nursery day.
* Work closely with our experienced SENCo and collaborate with outside agencies to implement effective support strategies.
* Help create an inclusive, engaging environment where all children can thrive.
* Support with daily routines, learning activities, and care needs as required.
* Maintain accurate records and contribute to review meetings and progress tracking.
We're Looking For:
* Experience working with children with SEND (particularly in a 1:1 setting).
* A patient, compassionate, and flexible approach.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Knowledge of EYFS and inclusive practice.
* Relevant childcare qualification (Level 2 or above preferred).
* Understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality procedures.

Contract length: 10 months
Pay: Up to £10,216.96 per year
