The opportunity:
We are a small team who look after the direct P&I business of Markel International. Working with the Underwriters you will support the team. You will be trained with our systems but also about the wider marine liability and P&I market and gain an understanding of the world shipping industry.
What you'll be doing:
* Invoicing
o Production of invoicing for all MECO Brands as required
* Renewal Statistics
o Claims Breakdowns
o Checking debt
* Certification / Endorsements
o Assistance with the production of certification if required
+ Certificates
+ Endorsements
+ Blue Cards
* IT testing as required
Our must-haves:
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook (and Access preferably).
* Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
* Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
* Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
