As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire a love of literature, language, and writing among students. You will play a key role in shaping the academic and personal development of students, ensuring that each learner is given the tools and opportunities to reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in English that are tailored to the curriculum and student needs.
Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and support to help all students achieve their best outcomes.
Work collaboratively with colleagues in the English department and across the school to enhance the educational experience of students.
Support students in their personal and academic development, promoting a positive learning environment.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
Contribute to the wider school community, engaging with extra-curricular activities, parent evenings, and school events.Requirements:
Enhanced DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service).
UK teaching experience in English, with proven experience in delivering high-quality lessons.
Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) is essential.
A strong understanding of the English curriculum and the ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
