🚀 Project Engineer, Plymouth | 12–24 Month Contract | Up to £37/hr
We’re looking for a hands‑on Project Engineer to join a long-term assignment supporting major capital and manufacturing projects in a regulated production environment. This is your chance to be directly involved in equipment installation, validation, and start-up, ensuring seamless integration while keeping live operations running smoothly.
* Location: Plymouth
* Duration: 12–24 months
* Pay: Up to ÂŁ37/hr (weekly pay) | Approx. ÂŁ77k per year equivalent
Key Responsibilities
* Lead equipment integration, installation, and validation across manufacturing sites
* Participate in FAT and SAT with engineering teams
* Prepare installation plans and support operator training
* Drive equipment performance and continuous improvement
* Ensure compliance with EHS requirements and company standards
* Coordinate smooth handover to Operations, Maintenance, and Quality teams
What We’re Looking For
* Proven Project Engineering experience in manufacturing
* Hands‑on experience with equipment installation, validation, and start‑up
* Comfortable in regulated environments (pharma, food, medical, automotive, etc.)
* Strong understanding of EHS and compliance requirements
* Confident working cross‑functionally with Operations, Maintenance, and Quality
* Practical, organised, and comfortable in live production settings
