Infrastructure Engineer | Cyber Security Transformation
A major organisation is investing heavily in its Cyber Security, Controls & Resilience programme and is looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to help strengthen security controls across a large-scale enterprise environment.
This role sits at the intersection of Infrastructure and Cyber Security, delivering hands-on engineering across:
✅ Infrastructure hardening and secure configuration
✅ Vulnerability remediation and patch management
✅ Security telemetry and logging enablement
✅ Identity and privileged access controls
✅ Cloud and hybrid infrastructure security
✅ Audit and IT controls evidence
You'll work closely with Security, Infrastructure, Cloud and Operations teams to deliver meaningful security improvements aligned to recognised frameworks including NIST CSF and ISO 27001.
We're looking for:
* Strong Infrastructure Engineering experience
* Security-focused mindset
* Vulnerability management expertise
* Experience with enterprise logging and monitoring
* Knowledge of cloud and hybrid environments
* Excellent stakeholder and documentation skills
Desirable
Azure, AWS, PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible, SIEM, PAM, EDR/XDR, NIST, ISO27001.
Hybrid working in South Manchester.
