Are you ready to take the next step in your Quantity Surveying career within a role that offers purpose, challenge, and tangible impact? We are currently seeking a proactive and commercially astute Quantity Surveyor to support critical infrastructure projects in a defence environment.
This role goes beyond just figures — it’s about applying your commercial expertise in a high-paced, dynamic setting where accuracy, value for money, and stakeholder collaboration are vital. You'll be involved in scoping and pricing works, maintaining financial control, and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and within budget.
Working closely with operational teams, site-based staff, client representatives, and supply chain partners, you will help deliver essential maintenance and construction projects across a range of facilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Scope and price voids and minor works, ensuring robust value for money.
* Maintain strong commercial and financial control throughout the project lifecycle.
* Produce accurate commercial reports and contribute to cost modelling.
* Manage risk, change control, and dispute resolution processes.
* Collaborate with operational teams and client stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery.
* Support a culture of continuous improvement and mentor junior team members where required.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in a commercial role within construction, FM, or property maintenance.
* Strong understanding of pricing frameworks, cost control, and financial analysis.
* Qualification in Quantity Surveying or equivalent professional experience.
* Previous experience in a military or MOD environment is advantageous but not essential.
* Excellent communication, critical thinking, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* A proactive, detail-oriented approach with a commitment to high standards and ethical practices.
