Overview
We are currently seeking to recruit a dedicated Charge Nurse within Ward 32. Ward 32 is a busy, 23 bedded Acute Medical Ward specialising in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Acute General Medicine.
Responsibilities
* Provide leadership and direction as Charge Nurse within an acute general medicine setting.
* Handle complaints and contribute to safe staffing, workforce planning and compliance with relevant legislation.
* Lead and participate in new and ongoing quality improvement projects.
* Demonstrate strong leadership, communicate effectively, and work well under pressure in a busy clinical environment.
Qualifications and Skills
* Relevant experience in a Charge Nurse role within an acute general medicine capacity.
* Exceptional communication skills and ability to liaise with other professionals.
Hours
You will be required to work a combination of 11.5 hour day shifts and night shifts.
