About ARU Police Education
ARU is partnered with The Metropolitan Police and the Seven Police Forces in the Eastern Region – Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent, Norfolk, and Suffolk – to train future Police Officers. We deliver the Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship (PCDA) and the Degree Holder Entry Programme (DHEP), developed by the College of Policing. These programmes aim to professionalise policing and raise educational standards.
About The Role
We seek an Academic Administrator to support teaching, assessments, and administrative work for the PCER programmes across the Seven Police Forces. The role requires prior administrative experience, preferably in education, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle complex tasks. Knowledge of the PCER programmes' value to Police, Public Service, and Higher Education is essential.
This is a part-time position, working 18.5 hours weekly, based at one of our campuses. Travel between police establishments and ARU campuses is required.
Salary: £26,338 - £29,959 (pro-rata)
