Nu-Heat was born to provide underfloor heating solutions in the UK. Since 1992 we have been developing bespoke, high-efficiency home heating systems and industry-leading underfloor heating products. We offer lifetime technical support and award-winning customer service, designed for our customers' projects so they feel the difference.
Nu-Heat will support your development through internal and external courses, job-specific training and coaching, with opportunities to experience other areas within the business where appropriate.
The Role
In this role you are accountable for after-sales care and technical support services for Nu Heat customers. Using your excellent customer service skills and technical knowledge, you will ensure we are available when our customers need us, while focusing on resolving queries first time and finding solutions for technical faults. You will be an organised individual with outstanding customer service skills and technical knowledge, self-motivated to deliver quality at pace, and focused on the team’s needs to ensure queries are answered correctly first time.
As a technical expert, you may be called on to support the design of Nu Heat systems and to provide support to internal customers when required. You will be self-motivated with a desire to learn, seek knowledge and take on new challenges, demonstrating Nu-Heat values in interactions with colleagues and customers.
Working style: 9:00 - 17:00 (8:00 - 16:00 one day per week). Hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 days WFH (on-site full time during probation period).
Responsibilities
* Represent the Nu-Heat brand in all customer interactions
* Provide internal & external customers with a high level of technical support via multiple channels
* Understand the design and operation of all Nu Heat products
* Support installations through timely and accurate advice
* Troubleshoot problems to ensure longevity of supplied systems
* Provide advice on the components and spare parts required for all systems
* Understand designs and heat loss assessments of properties
* Produce quotations and sales orders ready for shipment
* Check installations against the design and docking drawings
* Provide advice on related products such as Microgeneration certification, Government funding and Engineer bookings
* Manage the returns process ensuring that company policy is adhered to
* Provide support to colleagues’ queries
* Actively making improvement suggestions to process, product or service

* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Excellent PC skills including Microsoft applications, Teams, and web-based CRM systems
* Able to work in a calm and methodical manner
* Able to work on your own initiative without supervision
* Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the business
* Able to work individually and as part of a team
* Building Services (plumbing and electrical) industry knowledge would be advantageous
* Installation/site experience within a plumbing or electrical field would be an advantage
