Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on water systems
* Conduct water sampling, flushing, and treatment activities
* Ensure compliance with ACOP L8, HSG274, and water hygiene regulations
* Accurately record all site work using company systems and software
* Identify and report system issues or non‑compliances to Account Managers
* Build strong relationships with clients and represent SMS professionally on-site
* Support and mentor junior engineers where required
Qualifications
* Proven experience in water hygiene, water treatment, or Legionella control
* Strong understanding of water hygiene regulations and best practices
* Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
* Confident communication and client-facing skills
* Awareness of Health & Safety practices (COSHH, risk assessments, etc.)
* Full UK driving licence
Requirements
Experience across sectors such as healthcare, education, or commercial environments is an advantage.
