Quality Systems & Operational Auditor
Make a tangible impact on how an organisation works and ensure operational excellence across every process.
We are looking for a detail-oriented, curious professional to join a respected organisation at the centre of the UK’s construction product assurance and certification sector. In this role, you won’t just check boxes—you’ll help shape how the organisation works, ensuring processes are efficient, auditable, and compliant.
What makes this role exciting
This is not a routine product inspection role. You will be involved in:
* Conducting internal audits of operational processes, ways of working, and documentation to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement
* Improving and modernising the organisation’s documented procedures and controlled document management system
* Supporting and preparing for external audits, including UKAS, Achilles, and TrustMark
* Analysing process performance and providing insights, quality metrics, and meaningful reports to senior leaders
* Driving continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation
* Contributing to the organisation’s digitisation efforts and smarter ways of working
You will gain broad exposure to the organisation, take real ownership of operational quality, and influence processes that affect the entire business.
Who this role is ideal for
* Professionals who enjoy auditing processes, reviewing documentation, and improving operational practices
* Individuals with strong attention to detail, curiosity, and a structured approach to work
* People confident engaging with stakeholders and presenting findings in a clear, professional manner
* Experience with ISO 9001 would help but happy to train; ISO 17020/17021/17025/17065 desirable
* Someone eager to help an organisation improve systems, embed compliance, and drive efficiency
Why this opportunity stands out
You will contribute to an organisation that helps ensure safer, higher-quality buildings and construction products across the UK. Your work will directly uplift internal standards, improve operational practices, and support a wider mission of trust and assurance in the built environment.
This is a role where your voice and expertise truly matter, where you can lead initiatives that shape how the organisation evolves, and where you can grow your career in operational quality and auditing.
