This is a rare opportunity for a commercially-minded Manager to join a market-leading Private Client department. You will play a direct role in the strategic and operational objectives of the firm, bridging technical excellence with high-level business development in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Responsibilities
* Assist in providing expert personal tax advice on complex technical issues and advanced planning for high-net-worth individuals.
* Manage a high-quality client portfolio, ensuring compliance, timely correspondence, and identifying tax planning opportunities.
* Support Partners and Directors in business development, marketing initiatives, and drafting proposals for new work.
* Act as a technical reference point for private client tax matters, reviewing work drafted by other team members.
* Mentor and develop the team, identifying training needs and fostering a positive working environment.
* Manage billing, WIP, and recoverability targets to ensure the commercial success of the department.
* Deliver high-quality written and verbal personal tax advice directly to a sophisticated client base.
* Take a lead role in the firm’s growth by identifying and converting business development opportunities.
* Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge, sharing insights with the wider firm to ensure technical excellence.
* Champion risk management and internal quality assurance standards across all advisory projects.
* Navigate complex CTA-level technical challenges involving advanced inheritance tax and trust planning.
