We’re a well-established, friendly company in central Worcester, looking for a talented finance professional or bookkeeper to take ownership of our accounts function. About the Role
You’ll be at the heart of the company, managing day-to-day financial operations and ensuring everything runs smoothly. This is a varied role where your attention to detail, organisation, and proactive approach will make a real difference. You’ll have the chance to take full ownership of the accounts function while working closely with the firm’s leadership.
What You’ll Do
* Process and record all financial transactions, including client and supplier payments.
* Manage accounts payable and ensure timely invoice payments.
* Maintain accurate financial records and assist with reconciliations.
* Support reporting and other finance-related tasks.
* Ensure compliance with relevant accounting and regulatory requirements.
* Liaise with clients and suppliers on billing or payment queries.
Who We’re Looking For
* Previous experience in bookkeeping, accounts, or finance roles; legal experience is a plus but not essential.
* AAT qualified (Level 3 or 4) would be ideal, but willingness to learn is equally valued.
* Confident with accounting software and managing accounts payable.
* Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
* Strong communicator and problem-solver who enjoys taking ownership of their work.
