EHCP Coordinator
Full Time | Term Time (plus inset days)

We are seeking a highly organised and committed EHCP Coordinator to join our team, supporting children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) within a specialist educational setting.
This is a key role focused on ensuring high-quality, compliant Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) that support positive outcomes for pupils.
About the Role
As EHCP Coordinator, you will oversee and manage the full EHCP process, ensuring all plans are accurate, person-centred and aligned with statutory requirements.
You will work closely with pupils, families, staff, local authorities and external professionals to ensure effective coordination of support.
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinating the development, review and maintenance of EHCPs
Leading annual reviews and ensuring statutory deadlines are met
Acting as the main point of contact for EHCP-related queries
Liaising with families, local authorities and external agencies
Gathering, analysing and presenting information for EHCP documentation
Supporting staff to understand and implement EHCP targets
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience working within SEND, education or a related field
Demonstrates excellent organisational and administrative skills
Communicates effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
Can manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
Builds positive relationships with pupils, families and professionals
Essential Requirements
Knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and EHCP processes
Strong written skills, with the ability to produce clear reports
Ability to coordinate meetings and manage casework
Previous experience coordinating EHCPs or similar casework
Experience working in a school or local authority setting
