ILS Engineer page is loaded## ILS Engineerlocations: GB - Edinburghtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R0027881**Job Description:****The opportunity:****Leonardo**, we’re looking for an **Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) Engineer** to join our **Supportability team** – a unique discipline that touches every stage of a programme, from initial development and production to customer support, repairs, and end-of-life disposal.If you have a strong background in ILS and are seeking a new challenge where your expertise directly influences cutting-edge technology, this could be the role for you.**Your impact:*** Defining and documenting **In-Service Support strategies** (Repair, Spares, ESS, Test, FSR)* Coordinating with **Subject Matter Experts** across multiple engineering disciplines* Interpreting **ISS requirements and KPIs** to guide decision-making* Performing **Logistic Support Analysis and Reporting (LSAR)** for every maintenance level of Leonardo’s products* Working within the **Advanced Targeting business area**, influencing the supportability, strategy, and performance of next-generation **Laser and Infra-Red Countermeasure systems****What we’re looking for:*** Strong understanding of **ISS requirements and KPIs** (Availability, Fill Rate, Repair Turnaround Time)* Experience in **spares modelling** (Opus/Simlox) is a bonus, but not essential* Background in **Electronic Product Design*** Ideally, an **Honours degree in engineering or a science-based discipline** and experience in industry, defence, or relevant sectorsAt Leonardo, your work matters.
