Position Title: Midday Supervisory Assistant (MDSA)

Part-time, term time only position.
Temporary until 31st December 2026, with the possibility of the role becoming permanent.
Working Hours: 1 hour per day (11:50am – 12:50pm), 5 days per week.
Salary Details: Grade G01 SCP 1–4
Salary from £22,366 to £23,114 pro rata
Employment Start Date: ASAP

Ysgol Sychdyn are looking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Midday Supervisory Assistant to supervise pupils throughout the lunchtime period.
The successful candidate will support pupils in the dining hall and on the playground, ensuring their safety, wellbeing and positive play experiences at all times.
The successful candidate will:
1. Be able to build positive relationships with children and adults.
2. Promote positive behaviour, good manners and social interaction amongst pupils.
3. Be caring, patient and enthusiastic when working with children.
4. Be able to work effectively as part of a team.

7. Be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
