Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Bookkeeper to join a growing and friendly business in West Yorkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong transactional finance experience looking for flexible working hours. Reporting into the Finance Director, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day finance operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across key processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing the purchase ledger, including processing invoices and reconciling supplier statements
* Performing bank reconciliations
* Assisting with VAT returns
* Maintaining accurate financial records and postings
* CIS
* Assisting with payroll processing
Essential
* Previous experience in a bookkeeping or assistant accounting role
* Strong knowledge of purchase ledger and reconciliations
* Experience with VAT and payroll processes
* Proficient in Sage 50
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
