We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join our thriving secondary school in Northwood. Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality and engaging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring a deep understanding of the subject
* Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive and timely feedback to support their academic journey
* Create a stimulating classroom environment that fosters curiosity, enquiry, and a passion for Geography
* Encourage students to apply geographical knowledge to real-world issues and global challenges
* Collaborate with colleagues across departments to share best practices and contribute to whole-school initiatives
* Ensure the learning environment is safe, respectful, and conducive to the academic and personal growth of all students
What We Are Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* A strong passion for Geography and a commitment to inspiring students to reach their full potential
* Excellent organisational, communication, and classroom management skills
* Experience teaching Geography at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (desirable but not essential)
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students
* Enthusiasm for being part of a school where every child is supported, valued, and encouraged to thrive
