Our client is a well-established, forward-thinking accountancy practice based in Epsom, offering a comprehensive range of services to a diverse client base. They are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Qualified Accountant to join their team and manage their own client portfolio.
The Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to play a key role within their practice. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients with a value exceeding £150,000, providing high-quality service in accounts preparation, tax compliance, and potentially audit.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Managing your own portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services
2. Preparation/review of year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
3. Preparation/review of corporation tax computations and personal tax returns
4. Advising clients on tax planning, compliance, and business strategy
5. Supporting or leading on audit assignments, depending on experience
6. Liaising with HMRC and other third parties on behalf of clients
7. Building strong client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor
