1. Oversee all production activities and ensure work ispleted safely, accurately, and on time.
2. Allocate workloads to supervisors and monitor progress.
3. Manage staff development and training requirements and update training plans accordingly
4. Lead and support production staff, ensuring Health & Safety standards are always met.
5. Take responsibility for project performance, including deadlines, costs, and technical quality
6. Promote a continuous improvement working environment
This is just a summed-up list, and other duties will be required.Skills & Experience required:
7. Previous experience in a similar production management role within a manufacturing environment
8. Strong people management and leadership skills, ability to manage small & larger teams.
9. A proactive approach to Health & Safety
10. Experience within a CNC-based engineering/manufacturing environment and knowledge of CNC procedures – Sliding Head experience would be highly beneficial.
11. Continuous improvement background-Qualifications such as Lean Six Sigma or similar is advantageous.
