The role involves joining our Cyber Security department to recruit, lead, coach and develop a team of Security Information Risk Advisors, driving high performance and continual improvement.
Responsibilities
 * Recruit, lead, coach and develop a team of Security Information Risk Advisors; drive a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
 * Work across cross-business processes and large programmes of work to identify potential security information risks associated with the acquisition, implementation and use of technologies.
 * Monitor and mitigate risk; recommend controls and audit tests; contribute to the development of security policies, risk assessment and architecture for FCDO Services and customers.
 * Advise management on security breaches and provide solutions rooted in prevention; promote security awareness across the organisation.
 * Utilise specialist skills to improve technological resilience.
Qualifications and Experience
 * IS related qualification at NVQ Level 6 or equivalent.
 * Extensive knowledge of technical and security tools and techniques.
 * Experience analysing proposals, processes and practices, and identifying security information risks.
 * Line management experience; strong influencing and interpersonal skills.
 * Able to produce clear technical documentation.
Technical Skills
 * IS related qualifications at NVQ Level 6 or equivalent (e.g., ISO 207001 Internal Auditor or Lead Implementer; ISACA CRISC; ISC2 CISSP).
 * Extensive knowledge of technical and security tools and techniques.
 * Experience analysing proposals, processes and practices; identifying security information risks.
 * Able to produce clear technical documentation.
Security and Vetting
 * All employees must be security cleared; the role requires Developed Vetting (DV).
