As a Cover Supervisor, you will: Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff. Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure continuity of learning. Maintain positive behaviour and a focused classroom environment. Support pupils with their understanding of lesson tasks. Manage classroom resources and ensure pupils’ safety and wellbeing. Follow school policies on behaviour, safeguarding, and health & safety. Requirements for the role: Previous experience working with young people (school-based experience is desirable). Strong classroom management and communication skills. A proactive, flexible, and professional attitude. The ability to engage and motivate pupils effectively. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
