PumpServ specializes in the supply, manufacture, installation, repair, and maintenance of booster sets, pressurization units, HVAC and commercial pumps, and all associated equipment. We also deal with sewage and wastewater pumps, pumping stations, macerators, grease traps, stormwater attenuation, and rainwater harvesting applications.
Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Service Engineer at PumpServ. As a Service Engineer, your day-to-day tasks will involve troubleshooting, field service, communication, and technical support. You will be undertaking the maintenance and repair of a wide range of pumping equipment, including pumps, water booster sets, pressurization units, inverters, vacuum degassers, irrigation systems, electric motors, fans, air handling units, and plate heat exchangers.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:
1. PPM visits and associated remedial/repair works
2. Full mechanical and electrical installations (pipework/valves/pumps/controls)
3. Commissioning
4. Attending reactive/breakdown maintenance and repairs
5. Loading/unloading of plant and equipment at our head office and on-site
6. Scheduled call-out cover duties
7. Control of parts and spares in van
8. Always adhere to both company and individual client site health and safety requirements
9. Attend engineers’ meetings from time to time
Qualifications
1. Troubleshooting and maintenance & repair skills
2. Field service and technical support experience
3. Excellent communication skills
4. Ability to work independently and remotely
5. Experience in the building services industry is a plus
