This is a fantastic opportunity for a Junior Geotechnical Engineer to join an expanding ground investigation and design consultancy based in Doncaster. Responsibilities
* Designing geotechnical structures including retaining walls, slopes, foundations and infrastructure
* Carrying out desktop studies and overseeing ground investigations
* Groundwater & gas monitoring, borehole logging & soil sampling
* Factual and interpretive report writing
* Mentoring junior members of the team
Qualifications
Essential: Experience as a Geotechnical Engineer with strong understanding of soil mechanics and ground investigation.
Academic: A degree in Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Earth Sciences (with a geotechnical focus) or similar. MSc preferred.
Other: Full and clean UK Driving Licence, residence in or near Doncaster, and full right to work in the UK.
