Finance Manager – Penryn – Full time – Permanent - £45k- £50k
Trial Balance Consulting are delighted to be working exclusively with a long standing and highly regarded local business to recruit a Finance Manager. Having partnered with this organisation previously, we know it to be a genuinely positive place to work, with a supportive culture and a strong sense of teamwork across the business.
This is a hands on Finance Manager role that would suit an experienced accounting professional who enjoys being close to the detail while also providing guidance and leadership to a small, capable finance team. You’ll play an important role in maintaining strong financial controls, improving processes where needed, and supporting colleagues across the wider organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and supporting a small finance team
- Overseeing day to day accounting activity including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and reporting
- Leading month end and year end processes
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal procedures
- Working closely with non finance teams to provide clear and meaningful financial insight
- Contributing to a collaborative and professional working environment
We’re looking for someone with strong all round accounting experience, ideally qualified to at least AAT Level 4, who has previous experience supervising or developing finance staff. You’ll be approachable, organised, and confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
